Goodbye Diabetes!

INTRODUCTION

Diabetes is a chronic metabolic disorder  in which sugar levels in the blood and urine are abnormally high. It occurs when your body attacks and destroys the beta cells in the pancreas that produce insulin or your body cannot properly use the insulin your body produces..

The high risk groups are:

  • Have a family member with diabetes
  • Overweight
  • Over the age of 65 years.
  • Have high blood pressure or very high cholesterol.
  • Women with unexplained miscarriages, stillbirths or who have had babies weighing 9 pounds or more

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES

When glucose cannot enter the body cells, it accumulates in the blood and then starts appearing in the urine. Diabetics are prone to excessive urination because the glucose in the urine draws more water with it than usual. This leads to a vicious cycle - excessive urination and the loss of water generates excessive thirst. The body cells are starved as glucose cannot enter and there is increased appetite. In a desperate effort to get energy, the starved cells use up fat and protein. This causes loss of weight and fatigue. When glucose levels are very high, some people get irritable and may even become unconscious and fall into a coma. Moreover, people with diabetes run a greater risk of developing infections and skin problems.

However, not all diabetics display these symptoms. The most common symptom is tiredness. This disease is usually discovered during a routine examination or when the patient develops a complication such as a heart attack, stroke, a non-healing wound, high blood pressure, kidney dysfunction, etc. Blurred vision, tingling or numbness in the feet, legs or hands and frequent infections of the gums, vagina or bladder are some of the other symptoms.

COMPLICATIONS

Diabetes can lead to serious long-term complications. They are:-

  • Heart disease
  • Stroke
  • Nerve damage
  • Liver damage
  • Blindness
  • Kidney disease
  • Gangrene resulting in amputation

A TRADITIONAL CURE

There is NO KNOWN CURE for diabetes in western medical science. Patients suffering from diabetes will have to seek medical attention for the rest of their life. Most patients will have to step-up their intake of oral allopathic drugs with the passage of time and eventually end up having to take insulin. Therefore, patients suffering from diabetes will have to endure untold suffering and hardship for life. Furthermore, the total cost of such treatment over their life-time is undoubtedly expensive.

According to the ancient Ayurvedic medical system, DIABETES CAN BE CURED. The proven and tested cure for diabetes is COGENT db. This medicine has been extensively researched (for more than 11 years) and the clinical studies conclusively prove that COGENT db is the only known CURE for diabetes.

COGENT db is a pure herbal and natural medicine and has been clinical tested to have absolutely no untoward reaction or side effects.

INGREDIENTS

COGENT db contains nine herbs namely azidiracta indica (neem), phyllanthus emblica (Indian gooseberry), terminalia bellerica (belleric myrobalan), terminalia chebula (gallnut), tribulus terrestris (small caltrops), trigonella foenum graecum (fenugreek), curcuma longa (tumeric), syzygium cumini (black plum) and rotula aquatica. These herbs have been used in the Ayurvedic medical system for more than 3,000 years and have stood the test of time for their efficacy and safety.

DOSAGE

Adult: 2 tablets of COGENT db three times daily after food.

Children (under 12 years): 1tablet of COGENT db three times daily after food.

Preventive or Maintenance Dosage: 1 tablet of COGENT db three times daily after food.

COGENT db should be taken one hour after taking all allopathic medicine that the doctor has prescribed to be taken after food.

When a person with diabetes falls ill, all medication must be taken as usual and the patient should adhere to a strict diabetic diet.

DURATION OF TREATMENT

The length of treatment depends on the severity of the damage to the pancreatic functions. As a rule of thumb, a diabetic who is on oral allopathic tablets will have to take COGENT  db for a period of six months to a year. An insulin dependent patient will have to take COGENT db for a year or two.

A total feeling of well being, less fatigue, improvement in the neuropathic conditions such as relief from pains, tingling or numbness in the feet, legs or hands, etc will be the early signs of improvement that will be noticed in the first two months of taking COGENT db.
DOSAGE REGIMEN

VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT discontinue allopathic and other treatment unless otherwise recommended by your doctor.

Step - 2 After 30 days check your PP blood sugar level again. If it is below 8.3 millimoles/L consult your doctor for advice on reduction of allopathic drug dosage. If it is above 8.3 millimoles/L, continue the same allopathic drug dosage for another month. Check your PP blood sugar level on a monthly basis. In the month the PP blood sugar level is below 8.3 millimoles/L consult your doctor for advice on reduction of allopathic drug dosage.
Step - 3 Continue taking two COGENT db tablets thrice a day + your reduced allopathic anti-diabetic  drug as prescribed by the Doctor, along with diet/exercise regimen.
Step - 4 On a regular monthly basis, check your PP blood sugar level. If it is reduced further consult your doctor for advice on a further reduction of allopathic drug dosage.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

The food advised for persons with diabetes is the most healthy food. The ideal diabetic diet must contain more of cereal and vegetables, moderate amounts of fat-free milk and its products, white meat, fish and some fruits.

The most important element of diabetic diet is controlling the amount of food  - eat an amount that matches your activity and avoid excessive fat.

Exercise is vital for good health as well as for controlling diabetes. An exercise programme should be drawn up under your doctor's guidance and adhered to regularly. The intensity of exercise should not vary too much. However, exercise is not recommended when blood sugar levels are high.

CLINICAL STUDIES

On the advice of the Indian Council of Medical Research based in New Delhi, COGENT db was extensively tested at the Amala Research Centre under the personal supervision of Dr Ramadasan Kuttan. Dr Kuttan, who is a director at Amala, had previously worked at M.V. Anderson Hospital in New York and has published more than 80 international research papers.

The clinical studies at the Amala Research Centre conclusively prove amongst others that COGENT db produced a lowering of the blood sugar level over a period of time which did not alter even after withdrawing totally from the medicine (COGENT db).

The studies too showed that COGENT db also improve the liver and kidney functions as well as the total leukocytes in diabetic patients and does not produce any toxicity whatsoever.

Similar clinical studies on COGENT db are currently on-going at the Mayo Clinic in the United States, the centre which is the world leader in diabetic research, Monash University in Australia and the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.

Professor R.V Jayakumar, an endocrinologist, from the Thiruvananthapuram Medical Centre said the herbal drug (COGENT db) did have anti-diabetic properties and has shown a promising ability to repair damage to the pancreatic beta cells which are responsible for producing insulin.
